The White House is getting ready for a White House-wide rollout of equipment to equip all staff for President Trump’s inauguration
The White Houses equipment is on the way.
The equipment, which the president has been asking for since February, is expected to be installed by early May.
It’s a huge logistical challenge.
The White House has not set an official delivery date.
Some of the equipment, like the portable generators, have already been ordered by private companies.
But the president also needs to get the equipment installed.
Trump has also been calling on his Cabinet members to get all the equipment they need for his inauguration, and to make sure the president’s inauguration schedule is being followed.
“This is the president of the United States, and he has the ultimate authority,” Trump said of his decision to hire the contractors.
“He has the final say, and I have the final word.”
But the equipment is a big undertaking.
As of this week, the White House had already spent about $20 million on the inauguration, according to a person familiar with the matter.
It will take another $40 million to buy equipment that is needed to prepare the Capitol for the inauguration and to prepare for the festivities.
