How to get an office equipment loan in Texas
An office equipment rental company in Texas has told customers it’s working on a solution that could provide them with an alternative to getting the federal government to pay off their loans.
Read MoreFrom the Dallas Morning News: The office equipment lending company, Bowerman & Associates, has agreed to buy equipment from a small Texas company, Lighthouse Solutions, which is trying to raise funds for a $3 million loan.
The company said in a statement Tuesday that it’s a “proper, non-partisan process” that will be transparent and open to the public.
Lighthouse has partnered with the Texas Education Agency and the Texas Department of Financial Institutions to help with its loan.
Bowermans website lists Lighthouse as the company that it will be working with to sell equipment to customers.
The company said the process will begin in the next few days.
Bowerman’s spokeswoman, Beth L. Fennell, said in an email that the company “has always supported public interest lending, including by helping to fund projects that benefit students and educators in Texas and across the nation.”
Bowermans spokesman David M. Miller said in the email that Bowermen “is proud of the work Lighthouse is doing to improve the education of students and to provide the state with innovative technology and education.”Read More
