You might be tempted to spend an hour or so at a car park in a new car, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s the perfect fit.
The average car park has a range of only around 30-50 vehicles.
There’s also a few that have a maximum of 100 vehicles.

These car parks are typically managed by the local authority and are usually located close to the nearest major road.
However, there are plenty of other car parks which are located far away from the major road, such as suburban car parks, community car parks and city car parks.
To find the nearest car park to you, check the National Car Park Directory, which lists the nearest public car parks to your location.
In some instances, the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) has their own car parks as well.
While car parks aren’t the most convenient way to park, they’re great for your new found love of driving.
